This is the most important thing you should do when booking a limousine or car.
The law has changed recently.
COIF
Certificate of initial fitness
Any vehicle that carries more than 8 passengers must now have a COIF certificate by law.
There are companies operating large limos carrying more than 8 passengers. They are not properly insured or worse not insured at all... Insurance companies will not insure a limo to carry more than 8 passengers without presenting a COIF certificate. It’s simple NO COIF, NO INSURANCE. These companies are risking lives and risk heavy fines or imprisonment should an accident occur.
At pristine Limousines we have spent tens of thousands of pounds getting our limos to comply with all VOSA s requirements. We have several safety checks every 6 weeks carried out by a VOSA representative. We have a copy of our COIF certificate on the website. If other companies cannot prove they have a COIF then ask yourself why, are they insured correctly?
